Grape Variety: favorita

THE SEXY NEWCOMER: If it's not grown on the left side of the Tanaro River within a ten mile radius of my living room then it's not a DOC Favorita.

Characteristics:
Color: straw, tending to paper-white.
Bouquet: delicate, absolutely pleasant.
Taste: Dry, harmonious, fresh when young.
Alcohol content: medium 10,5 - 11% Vol.
Aging: DON'T! La Favorita MUST be young (1-2 years)...
Preservation: horizontal in a dim, dank, dark cellar... at a constant temperature.
Serving temperature: Chilled, 6-8° C.
Great with: seafood hors-d'oeuvres, fish in general, delicate appetizers.
If you want to make "BELLA FIGURA" order La Favorita as an aperitif.
